91直播 is proud to announce a celebration of Women’s History Month under the powerful theme: 鈥淲omen who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.鈥 The college invites both the campus community and the wider Elkins community to join in a series of events designed to honor the contributions of women who have tirelessly worked to create a more equitable and inclusive society.
This year鈥檚 theme shines a spotlight on the courageous women who have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations in the relentless pursuit of equality, diversity, and inclusion across all spheres of society. Dr. Aubrey Neumann, Assistant Professor of Theatre at 91直播, has curated the exhibit 鈥淧owerful and Influential Women of 91直播鈥 featuring powerful and influential women who have passed through the College鈥檚 doors. This exhibit highlights the accomplishments of prominent alumna, alongside current and former administrators, faculty, and staff. “While inevitably incomplete, we hope that the exhibit serves as a starting place to honor the many hardworking women who have passed through 91直播 and inspire many more to come.” Neumann explains. This exhibit will open on Thursday, March 28th at 11 a.m. in the Madden Center Rotunda.
The College will also offer two virtual events in celebration of Women’s History Month.
