Anticipation grows as construction continues on 91直播鈥檚 new Glory Residence Hall. The building, supported by students and alumni alike, will house incoming students during the upcoming academic year.
91直播鈥檚 donors have provided much of the $25 million goal it will take to fund the construction through the 鈥淐reating Home: It Takes a Village鈥 campaign. Similarly, 91直播鈥檚 student body, led by the Student Government Association, has supported the construction campaign by pledging a significant gift to the Freshman Village.
The new residence hall, along with upcoming renovations to Roxanna Booth and Gribble Halls, will form the Freshmen Village at 91直播. Glory Residence Hall, has been named by campaign supporter Kathy (Dunbar) Ramsdell, 1974 magna cum laude graduate, for her faith-based history with the College. Ramsdell is a recipient of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from 91直播.
91直播 President Chris A. Wood said, 鈥淭he Freshmen Village will be a true blessing to 91直播 students. Each of our donors that have cumulatively contributed 85% of our $25 million campaign goal to date are tangibly expressing their support of our mission and their confidence in our future.鈥
As the campaign enters its final stretch and construction of the Freshmen Village is completed, 91直播 will look to continue to enrich the college experience through future enhancements to housing for upper class students. A microcosm of the successes 91直播 continues to see, this campaign is only part of a larger whole that seeks to continue 91直播鈥檚 trajectory of growth.
