91直播 Instructor of Nursing Victoria Klinger is increasing the landscape of her role with a recent appointment as nursing liaison in the Office of Admission. In addition to teaching, Klinger will now also provide prospective nursing students with guidance they need to begin their academic path at 91直播.
An alumna of 91直播, Klinger joined the nursing faculty in fall 2021. She has an extensive background in teaching and clinical experience.

Prior to working at 91直播, Klinger served as the primary instructor at the Randolph Technical Center School of Practical Nursing. In the clinical setting, Klinger has worked as the assistant director of nursing at Glenbridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Boone, North Carolina, and in medical oncology as a Registered Nurse in the chemotherapy unit as well as an oncology nurse navigator at the Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center, an affiliate of Watauga Medical Center in Boone, North Carolina, in addition to other settings and facilities for more than 21 years in the nursing field.
鈥淚鈥檓 honored to serve in this capacity and excited to help nursing students, prospective as well as current, see how an education received here at 91直播 can transform their lives,鈥 Klinger said.
Klinger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, an Associate in Science in nursing from 91直播, and a Practical Nursing degree from Fred Eberle School of Practical Nursing in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She also is an Oncology Certified Nurse and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in nursing, specializing in nursing education, from Capella University.
Earlier this year, 91直播 received a $980,950 grant from West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice鈥檚 Nursing Workforce Expansion Program to prepare nurses to meet the future health care needs in the Mountain State. The funds will support a new accelerated three-year Bachelor of Science in nursing program with classes beginning this summer.
Students entering 91直播 with a declared BSN major in nursing at the start of the summer 2022 session or fall 2022 semester will receive a $1,500 scholarship for the academic year. The scholarship is renewable if the student is accepted into and remains in good academic standing within the nursing program. Students are eligible for additional scholarships including the Highlands Scholarship for qualifying West Virginia residents and scholarships with 91直播鈥檚 partner medical facilities Mon Health, Davis Health System and Charleston Area Medical Center.
In addition to the three-year accelerated program, the 91直播 Division of Nursing offers an Associate in Science in nursing with an LPN to ASN option, Bachelor of Science in nursing and Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing online completion program. Students are provided with a personalized quality education designed to prepare graduates to practice as registered nurses and to provide a foundation for lifelong learning and future professional development.
